Terms of use

FitScan lets you scan a printed QR (or type a code) to see that box’s ingredients, portions, nutrition, and absorption tips. With an optional FitScan account you can keep scan history, weigh-ins, progress photos, rewards, kitchen messages, an AI coach, and extra-food logs. The public weekly menu is the kitchen’s published plan for the upcoming or current Monday week.

Nutrition figures are kitchen estimates for that recipe. Extra-food photo estimates are coaching suggestions you must confirm. Nothing in FitScan is medical, dietary, or weight-loss advice tailored to a clinical condition. Talk to a qualified professional before changing how you eat or train.

Use a real email you control — ideally the same email as your MiamiFitBox / Shopify order so those meals can sync. You are responsible for the password and for activity on the account. MiamiFitBox may deactivate an account that is abused, shared in a way that breaks these terms, or used to attack the service (including automated login, signup, scan, or AI photo floods).

Kitchen login is for MiamiFitBox staff only. Customer accounts cannot open kitchen tools.

Scan events record which code was opened and, if you are signed in, attach that plate to your log. Progress photos and extra-food photos must be yours to upload. Do not upload illegal, sexual, or someone else’s intimate images. Kitchen inbox messages and SMS are for order and account operations; the AI coach is not a human trainer and can be wrong.

Order, shipping, refund, and payment terms are MiamiFitBox / Shopify terms, not these FitScan terms. FitScan may import order summaries when the shop email matches a FitScan customer. Missing or delayed sync does not cancel a shop order.

Do not:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or resell meal recipes or customer data.
• Probe login, signup, scan, messaging, or photo-estimate endpoints beyond normal use.
• Impersonate MiamiFitBox kitchen staff or another customer.
• Interfere with Wednesday menu publish, labels, or other customers’ accounts.

We aim to keep FitScan available for box scans and accounts, including caching the public weekly menu and meal pages so a QR opens quickly. Features that call live AI, SMS, or Shopify can fail when those providers are down or over quota. We may change or pause features without a full rewrite of the app.

FitScan is provided “as is.” MiamiFitBox is not liable for lost macros, missed scans, AI estimate errors, delayed order sync, or fitness outcomes. To the extent allowed by law, our liability for FitScan is limited to the greater of fifty U.S. dollars or the amount you paid FitScan (usually nothing — meals are paid on MiamiFitBox).
